Definition
A transition vascular leaf in which the basal portion of the leaf has unifacial lamina development in a median plane, similar to a phyllode, and the apical portion of the leaf develops leaflets similar to a juvenile leaf. [source: PMID:18978364, PO_REF:00006, PO_REF:00007]
Comment
Common in seedlings of legumes of the genus Acacia. May also occur later, after the plant has begun to produce phyllodes.
